4. Refuge


This is the player's own base. Your main goal is to continuously upgrade your refuge by collecting materials from time to time. As the refuge facilities are upgraded, players will also get more and better rights and unlock more advanced functions.

4.The problem of the game

The frame number and picture issues have been mentioned in the previous part, and I personally feel that I can only say that this work still needs further optimization. The switch version of this work has been in closed beta before. People who have participated in Reddit basically agree that compared to the closed beta, the current version of the picture has been significantly improved, but there is still room for improvement in the number of frames.

The bug problem that I have encountered most is that the window is stuck and cannot be turned out, and there is a problem with the character animation when climbing the ladder. I see foreign Xbox players often report shooting judgment bugs, such as clearly hitting the opponent but no damage. I have not encountered similar problems in the switch version. Of course, my experience is not too deep after only playing for a few days, so I can't say much here.

Since it is a PVP game, it is inevitable to talk about the current in-game environment. I just want to say that the current game environment is a disaster. The reason is that the switch version is forced to cross-platform with the Xbox version. If you open the switch version now and match a game, most of the 12 people will be Xbox players.

The advantages of 60fps versus 25fps are self-evident, and the switch version also has a great disadvantage in resolution and viewing distance, and it is difficult to win against the gun. The official statement is aware of this, but because the number of players in the switch version is sparse at this stage, in order to have a reasonable matching time, cross-platform will be forced temporarily, and cross-platform switches will be provided when the switch version is officially free.

In addition to single players, the game can also team up in pairs, and you can randomly match wild people. But in this toxic game, it is unrealistic to expect to trust a stranger. Someone will you at the start, or deliberately separate from you if you get a good thing, then you, or even if two people arrive at the evacuation point together, they will you again. In the two-player mode, the airdrop will also be two boxes, which is another experience of human nature.

I think this game has great potential. It has its own characteristics based on the Escape from Tarkov traditional hardcore survival shooting game rules, but this game obviously has a long way to go. Officials once said that there is no plan to log in to the PC, and it will be specifically for the host, so at least it is fortunate that the plug-in problem has been solved.
